REUNIONS
The squadron has maintained its annual reunions. The most recent one was held in Omaha,
Nebraska, in October 2007. We will meet next in Portland, Oregon, September 24-28, 2008
at the Doubletree Hotel-Lloyd Center. Reunion Chairman Rupert McDowell has prepared an
eventful schedule including a tour of the Columbia River Gorge, the Evergreen Air Museum
and its Spruce Goose exhibit, the Tillamook Cheese factory, the Powell City of Books and a
side trip to Astoria on the Pacific Coast. Optional tours are scheduled to attend live theater in
Portland and to see snow-capped Mt. Hood. The program will also include a memorial
service for departed comrades, a Saturday night banquet, and free time for you to visit in the
